I read it 10-15 years ago (sr i cant be sure because i was a kid), i in vietnam and it's written in english.

Plot details: It is a collection of many strange stories but I have forgotten most of them. I only remember one story about the man who invented fertilizer. The story is told from the point of view of a child.
At first, the son was very proud because his father had created an extremely good fertilizer and it helped the family become famous.
But gradually the fertilizer attracted a lot of flies and it turned into a disaster when flies swarmed his town.
