I finished listening to The 500 by Matthew Quirk - 3.5*.A recent college grad, with some interesting con man skills, fights corruption at his new job with a powerful political lobbying firm. Over-the-top but lots of action and was entertaining.

Murder in the Family by Faith Martinreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
A classic that I somehow missed! A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle has everything I'd have loved as a young reader: kids on a quest, a mysterious missing father, magic spirits, time travel, and Evil to be overcome! I still enjoyed it now.
4★ My review of A Wrinkle in Time

I finished listening to Not a Happy Family by Shari Lapena - 4*.An enjoyable domestic suspense and police procedural about an inheritance. Lots of lies, secrets and suspects.
Chance by Matthew FitzSimmons (the sequel to Constance) is a thriller based on a speculative version of the not too distant future where cloning is allowed, but only affordable by the very wealthy.review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished listening to The Wife and the Widow by Aussie author Christian White.Well-written with believable characters about a wife who goes looking for answers about her husband's murder. A big twist in the book had me re-thinking a lot of the story.
My review for
by Peter Swanson, a dark and twisted murder mystery with some very devious characters.https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Six Ostriches
is the next in Philipp Schott's Canadian vet mystery series. I enjoyed it without knowing anything about the previous book, Fifty-Four Pigs. It's an entertaining mix of ancient Icelandic sagas, cults, sacrifices... and ostriches.
4★ My review of Six Ostriches
