I felt there was a good story in here waiting to get out with the help of a good editor. Lots of interesting events based on real life experiences, but overshadowed by the larger than life main character and the main story wasn't introduced until half way through and rushed.

I finished reading The Searcher by Tana French - 4*.An interesting story of a retired cop that moves to Ireland and develops a friendship with a teenager whose brother has gone missing. Slow but excellent character development as French usually does.
