Week 9: What are you reading?

I have been slow on reading during dance competition season. I bring my book, but always end up wanting to see all the dances.
3/4 of the way through Saint Odd & still listening to Private London in the van. Not much listening w/ all the snow. Ha ha.

I haven't done much reading this past week, I came down with the stomach bug Sunday, and have been slowly getting over it. Now I've been rereading some of my comfort reads. Then I've got the new Laurie King to enjoy.
I'm listening to The Fellowship of the Rings on my commute, he's an interesting narrator, but I wish it were read by one of the actors.

Chris, I finished The Night Circus, and I think it needs to be added to my Favorites list. It was beautifully written, and reading it was like being transported into the middle of a gorgeous black and white circus. I felt the same sense of wonderment the circus goers experienced in the book.

Now I have to decide if I want to start the next book in that series, or move onto something different.

Books mentioned in this topic
One More Thing: Stories and Other Stories (other topics)Rain Reign (other topics)
Brown Girl Dreaming (other topics)
Splintered (other topics)
This week, I'm going to take a look at the Bingo Card and figure out which squares I can fill in and what I need to read the rest of the year to fill in the whole card. I just started Splintered on the suggestion of numerous coworkers so that should fit under the Modern Day Fairy Tale prompt.
I also wanted to mix things up this week, so here is a poll about book villains. Throw your voice into the mix and let us know who you think is the evilest of villains.
Happy reading!
