Just read through the synopsis of the books and no unfortunately this isn't it either. Appreciate the suggestions though!
Do those seem too old?I am finding a lot of high school series, but mainly from the '90s. It sounds like yours might have been 2000s?
Yes I believe those are too old, the YA series I'm remembering I feel came out between 2003-2010. I'd even shorten the window to possibly between 2006-2009 as I vaguely feel like I started reading them in my Junior or Senior Year of HS and then the rest of the series sometime after I graduated.

Time frame in the story was mid 2000s as well.
There were 5-7 books in the series I believe. Each of the books focused primarily on one of the characters who had their own specific life issues that they were dealing with. Each book jumped frequently between the different character's POV from chapter to chapter. I remember one of the characters was severely bipolar and one of the books focused on them making the decision to go off their meds and the ramifications that led to. Two of the characters were dating if I remember correctly. Another was dealing with making the decision on whether or not to come out to his friends and family. The final book in the series dealt with them coming to terms with their collective trauma that occurred.
