Date 5 - Tasks: Breakdown of the qualifications for possible tasks for Date 5.

Please remember that all tags/lists must qualify IN CONTEXT!! Links MUST be provided.

Don't make more work for yourself than necessary - if the qualifier is in the title or on the cover, use it! You don't have to go searching for tags to make it work. 😊 If the link you use for the book is the same you are using for the book details or cover - say so (see above edition or something similar)! That saves us all some steps. But please double check your links!

You may use separate editions of your Scavenger Hunt books to qualify for the different tasks. Links MUST be provided.


E is for Eager - Read a book initially published in the last 6 months.

To qualify for this task, the book needs to be initially published within the last six months. To qualify, the book needs to have been initially published on or after July 14, 2022. For this task the first publication date is the one that will count. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page - USE IT! Otherwise, I will be looking for earliest dated English language edition regardless of format.


E is for Eject - Read a book tagged as 'DNF'.

To qualify for this task, the book needs to be tagged with either 'did not finish' or 'dnf'.


E is for Enchanted - Read a book that is MPG Fantasy.

To qualify, the selected book needs to have 'Fantasy' as a Main Page Genre.


Hidden Task:
E is for Extravagant - Read a book that features a wealthy MC.

To qualify, the book will need a feature a rich or wealthy character. This can be indicated by the title, series name, precis, tags or lists

I'm really struggling with ones published in the last 6 months lol the only ones I have are arcs and don't have any MPG yet

If you add the tag on your own book (assuming it IS a romance) then ‘romance’ may appear on the main page by the time the date is going. And add to the RRRC bookshelf as well.
