I will hopefully find another book, but just to explain: The (definitely narrow, definitely village-y and most certainly British) road is marked on the left and right with double yellow lines, indicating that no parking is allowed.

I thought I'd better ask whether tarot cards are actually even considered to be playing cards?
Otherwise I'd DNF the book...

I am on board with your ruling Janice but I do have to say that I totally used to play solitaire games with my tarot cards lol :)

There were few that interested me from what the blurb said - and now one of them (Peg and Rose Solve a Murder) was a DNF after only three chapters.
(Having read all the Poirot novels sometime in the 1980's, I am leaving a re-read of that one for last, in case everything else fails.)
