I am looking for a book that I have been trying to find for over a year. It is a YA Mystery/Thriller novel that I saw on the Barnes & Noble website last year. I have never read the book and don't remember the title or author, but I remember the plot and what the cover looked like. There was a girl and two friends who left their school's homecoming dance or prom, don't remember which, and went to stay at someone's cabin or lodge for the weekend. Later, the main girl wakes up alone somewhere outside and has no memory of what happened before she woke up. Her friends are gone. She tries to figure out what happened and I think she meets and guy or someone along the way who helps her? She starts to wonder if her friends tried to kill her and she doesn't remember. That's all I got from the book's description on the website.

The cover was a picture of a dock by a lake. There may have been someone sitting on the dock but I don't remember. There may also have be tree branches hanging above the dock and/or to the side. The picture was darkened, like it was at nighttime. I can't remember if it was a photograph or a digitally created image. The title was in big white block letters.

I think the book was under the new releases tab on the B&N site, so it was pretty recently published within the last 2 years or so. I haven't seen it on the site since, and I check there often. I also check everytime I visit the B&N store near me, but I nave never been able to find it. I think the main girl's name may have started with an E (Emily, Evelyn, Eliza maybe?) and the author was female.

I thought it might have been The Weekend Away by Sarah Alderson, but it's not. That book has only two girls who go to a different country, and this book seems to take place only in the U.S. They have similar plots though.

I have tried almost everything to find the book and I'm using this as a last resort. Hopefully since it's a recent title, it might not be too difficult to find, but I don't know. I'm really interested and would like to read it, and I don't know why I can't find it anywhere.

Whoa that's it! Thank you! I knew it would probably be easy to find but for some reason I couldn't. I read the description again and it turns out I got a lot of details wrong lol. I glad to know what it is again, finally!
