All of the letters in the word must be found in the target phrase, not just a few letters from the word - otherwise, it's not a word "that can be made using the letters" in the target phrase. You can't make the word "vacation" out of the target phrase, because not all the letters are included.
The word you find must be at least 4 letters long. So, the word "time" would work, since all letters are found in the target phrase. The word "not" wouldn't work, since it's only 3 letters.

Just an FYI - it appears that you are using the number of pages in the Kindle edition for the BB tickets. We never use the kindle page numbers - you need to follow the page numbers set out in the Rules of the Challenge for determining ebook page numbers.
In this case, the top paperback is over 798, so it works and you don't need to repost.

Books that are e-books only cannot be used for tasks with required page numbers. Task 25.4 has a minimum combined page number of 500 pages.

Is there a theme for the spring challenge?

The theme for the year was chosen by the group members via a poll as "decades" - Winter was "20s", so Spring will be "30s", Summer will be "40s" and Fall will be "50s", at which point the theme for the next 4 challenges will be chosen!

Task 30.2, option 1, requires that all letters of ANIME be found in the title of the book, not the subtitle. Futureproof does not contained these letters.
For the spring challenge, do I post the task I came up with in 30.1? Or send it to someone?

For 25.8, option 3, the word used in the description of the animal must be used in the blurb to describe the character. I don't see the word "strong" used in the descriptio of Heather. The help thread points out that the specific word or a variation of it (not a synonym) must be used.

Just an FYI: When you read an ebook, you need to use the pages for the top MMPB if one exists, not for an English language pb. The top MMPB for your book B is only 352 pages. Your total is still 614, so you're okay on this one, but you should be careful about this, since it will not always be okay.

You have linked to the hardback edition of The Romanovs: 1613-1918, which has 784 pages. You only use the MMPB page numbers if you read an ebook/audiobook edition.
This is over 750 pages, so still works for 2 BB tickets, but this would not always be the case, so I wanted to point out the actual rules.

Books that are only in ebook form cannot be used for tasks with a specific page number requirement. Approval in the ebook verification thread only says that the book meets the 100 page floor for use of books in the SRC.

Task 5.10 allows one book with the designation of childrens that is not found in ARBF. It does not allow books that ARE in ARBF but do not meet the requirements for use in the SRC. Ways to Make Sunshine is in ARBF, with scores that do not qualify for use in the SRC: IL: MG - BL: 4.5 - AR Pts: 4.0
