Help needed with book title & author name

Hi All! Please help me solve this mystery! My friend heard about this book in an interview on the radio some years ago., which she unfortunately does not recollect. We are trying to figure out the name of the book & the author. Based on a real life memoir, the author is an American woman who marries when she is really young & gets married to a man much older than her. The marriage lasts for as long as 40 years& she describes her journey through the years. That’s the only info. Despite trying out different key word searches, nothing appears on Google. Can someone please help & provide some insight on what the title of this book is or who the author is? Many thanks!
