I love that @Monika is still chugging along on these... every time you comment, I'm reminded how much I want to finish up/get back to the series, but haven't made time...
Trying to catch up with them cause don't have many BRs on my list this month and have loads of other books on my piles which screams for my attention LOL!
Need to check if I have book 1... I have book 2 on my kindle for sure... hmmm... I have too many books on my piles...gosh!!!
14 more awaiting my attention till date plus the one which will be published soon and one planned for next year :) I'm behind but I have them as my challenge - unfinished series LOL!
The In Death series is good, from book to book...
But when it's great, it's amazing :D
Some really stand out above the rest...

Villain in this one was a proper nut-case, asbo crazy person. Plus this ex-husband of the writer and his son - I can say I felt like Eva - two psychos needed cage. Just one very good read.

Tonari no Emily wrote: "Read Passions in Death yesterday. These are such comfort reads now! (view spoiler)"I just finished, and I agree with you wholeheartedly!
I still need to read #59... add it to my end-of-year plans, I guess...
Gonna search GR, and update thread title now...

SOONER... for reals this time... I finally have room in my schedule, and the next one comes out in 2 days...

I completely forgot it was so soon! I may not get to it until a little later in the month, but I'll get to it!
I didn't realize it came out yesterday so I didn't request it from the library soon enough for a short wait.. But best believe I'll read as soon as my hold comes through... In 17 weeks 😭
Bonded in Death
I started tonight; I read the prologue and first chapter.
This case doesn't seem easy to solve.
Although it hasn't been mentioned yet, I have a hunch that Summerset might contribute his historical knowledge to the investigation. If that happens, it could be hilarious and/or painful!
I keep forgetting to get around to reading these (#59/60)... that's on my immediate TODO list...
Time to fix this immediately... I'm gonna pause DCC7 (blasphemy, when Nirkatze & Ann-Marie see this), and read Passions in Death immediately, today... then get back to that for awhile, and read Bonded soon...
Problem solved...
