Villain in this one was a proper nut-case, asbo crazy person. Plus this ex-husband of the writer and his son - I can say I felt like Eva - two psychos needed cage. Just one very good read.

Read Passions in Death yesterday. These are such comfort reads now! (view spoiler)[ I liked the smaller murder case. Shockingly only 1 to solve. But it allowed for a lot of smaller moments with the characters. Eve has grown so much.. Not working herself to exhaustion, still able to enjoy non-work things during the day. Loved all her comments about sayings and words. Loved how she used some of Roarke's own tactics on him when he was being moody and not wanting to share what was wrong. Just perfect :)
This one didn't have any super emotional beats for me, but I just enjoyed being back with our favorite characters and solving crime :D (hide spoiler)]

I started tonight; I read the prologue and first chapter.

This case doesn't seem easy to solve.

Although it hasn't been mentioned yet, I have a hunch that Summerset might contribute his historical knowledge to the investigation. If that happens, it could be hilarious and/or painful!
