Gahhhh!! I'm so excited for you guys...C&R was an addiction of mine...it gets better and better if you ask me. But then again, I love series that feature the 'same couple' instead of 'new couples in the same world' best! And they crack me up. AND they are smoking hot. My old book club went to NOLA for our first girls weekend because of this series.
I'll be curious to see who's team Ty and who's team Zane! ;)

Getting into deep grief stage, in a week it will be the one year anniversary of my husband of 31 years death. Hanging in but it is hard.

All my love and sympathy...that's the most terrible and impactful loss I can imagine. It's awful how the seasons carry with them the shadows of what happened in the past, and it can have such a visceral effect on our bodies and minds.

*Roger, grief is hard. I can empathize with the mourning, though different. Today is the second anniversary of my uncle's murder. I took the day off work to be able to just reminisce and remember and also, for time to just cozy up and engage in self care. I hope that you are also prioritizing self-care for yourself and that the good that you shared can ease the pain.

Just want to vent a little. I'm beginning to wonder if Amazon is even sending out the gift emails half the time. I've had so many books that I gifted through Amazon sit unclaimed this year until I secretly messaged people on Elfster. I still have a couple that haven't been claimed even with that messaging. I also was gifted a book and never got an email from Amazon. This is the first year this has happened. The gifting is so much fun but Amazon is pretty frustrating.

So sorry to hear that. Every year it's different, some are difficult and some are easy, hopefully it doesn't put you off joining again next year. The person I'm gifting to doesn't appear to be active here or on elfster and I only know if they receive the gift by checking my Amazon account, but it's all good fun here.

Amazon used to have that information, but now it's all gone. I have to keep track in Google sheets so I know who I sent the books to and who claimed them or not. It's not really a big deal, I can see everything on one page and it's more reliable than Amazon.

If so, you could copy it and paste it in an Elfster Secret Q&A.

Or gift it to your own e-mail address and then paste the message in an Elfster Q&A.

I was checking to see if my gifts had been claimed and found a book I gifted a few months ago that hasn't been redeemed. Would anyone be interested in a copy of Or Else by Joe Hart? It's a thriller about a couple who has an affair until he receives a message to break it off or else (dun dun DUN!) -- it sounds good, but it's just not my cuppa. I'm happy to send it on to whoever would enjoy it!
