I love that they used Maeve in this book after mentioning her in One of us is lying. All of the small notions referring to the first book made this story come to life. I was transported to Bayview trying to solve the mystery alongside Maeve. Also can we talk about Bronwyn and Nathan in this book. Like they are the cutest and no one can convince me otherwise.

I loved getting to know Maeve, especially since she played such a major role in Lying.
Nate and Bronwyn are honestly end game!!

I cannot, for the life of me, remember who was the killer in this book. I read it when it first came out. Can anyone remind me who the killer was?

(view spoiler)[There wasn't necessarily a killer in this book. I mean, Emma, Phoebe's sister, and a man named Jared started the truth or dare game in order to kill or "get revenge on" Brandon, because he killed Emma and Phoebe's father and Eli, because he got Jared's brother convicted which led to his mother's suicide. Jared killed Brandon as part of their deal. Emma stopped responding to Jared's online messages, saying when Brandon was killed everything had gone too far. Jared then tried to kill Eli at him and Ashton's rehearsal dinner. It didn't work, though, because Maeve and Knox followed him to the restaurant and threw the homemade bomb into the woods before it exploded. (hide spoiler)]
