9 to 10 answers."
Good so options like audiobooks which I cannot do won't severely limit my options.

Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "Ok so I assume first call will be Oct 22 this saturday so will the first revealing of answers post be during the week we are reading or after the first reads are posted. Oct 25 or Nov 1?"
The game begins Monday, Oct. 24, so you'll see the survey and answers (reading prompts) Saturday, Oct. 22. The survey and answers will be posted two days before each "Week".
Week 1: Oct 24 - 30
Week 2: Oct. 31 - Nov. 6
Week 3: Nov. 7 - 13
Week 4: Nov. 14 - 20
Week 5: Nov. 21 - Dec. 4 (14 days)
Week 6: Dec. 5 - 11
Did that answer your question, Roger?

Yes."
Thank you. :)

No I was asking about:
The answers' points will be revealed each Tuesday morning.
Sha wrote: "How does scoring work? One point per book?"
I will use the number the answer scored on the survey. To use the sample survey:
Name something specific that might make a blind date not go very well.
Answers:
Nothing in Common - 22
Body Odor - 18
Male shorter than Female - 14
Arrives Late - 13
Car Trouble/Accident - 8
Personality Clash - 8
Sloppy Attire - 7
Bad Breath - 4
Date is a Bore - 2
Ugly Date/Bad Looking - 2
If you read for 'Arrives Late', you would earn 13 points for your family.
I've tried to make the reading prompts equally hard/easy, but certain ones will appeal to a certain person more than others.

As soon as possible. By Monday morning, please.
I'll need a list of each family member, and which answer they read for. A link to the member's Completion Post will be fine. I'll make a Reporting Thread soon.
After all the reports are in, I'll reveal the answer's points and how many points each family has earned.

Also, I'm figuring if I read two books I would need to read for two different answers, yes?
~Melissa~ wrote: "If we are thinking we will read two books for any week of the game - do we need to decide this and inform team by Sunday or we can add a book during the week if we have time?"
Everyone is to read 1 book a week. There are two reasons why someone might need to read an extra book.
Each family should consist of 5 members. It wouldn't be fair for a smaller family to lose the points gained by that fifth book. That is why I asked in the sign-up questionnaire if folks were able or willing to read a second book during a week.
The other reason to read a second book is if a family member schedules an absence or has an emergency.

I don't mind if you read two books for the same answer.

I am a very nosy moderator. I definitely read all the team threads!

I haven't created the reporting and survey threads yet. I'll do that tomorrow morning.

Oh yes, noticed it in the last one I participated :-D

You noticed, huh? I guess I need to be sneakier!
Oooh, if this challenge is based on family, does that make me The Godfather? (But feminine. 'The Godmother' just doesn't have the sound of power and authority :)

*sigh* I did put the same person on two teams. Thank you for catching that. Your team will keep Jeanne and I'll send a replacement for the Jeanne in the Dahl family.

Thanks for letting us know. I just wanted to be sure. I am excited to begin this game! :)

Awesome.
Since you started the thread, you can change the title. Or I can do it. Either way :)

For some reason i was thinking the reverse 🙄🙄😄

The rules say, "At the end of 6 weeks, the family with the most points wins." So, you're looking for the answer that is most popular and that might have the highest points.

Yes.
I won't post the points for the answers until all the Captains have reported in for the week and I've recorded the task that folks have read for.

I'm sorry. I don't understand your question. Everyone is to read 1 book a week.

Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "Lanelle, you say ends 12:59 PM, are you saying it closes a minute before 1 or did you mean 11:59 a minute before midnight?"
I had the number correct in Message 1, but wrong in Message 2. It is 11:59 pm. I have fixed it.
Roger - president of NBR United - wrote: "As scorekeeper do you want a report of weekly earned points or just the continuing post in team thread?"
The Scorekeeper is really for the benefit of the team. The Scorekeeper takes care of this task so there is one less thing that the Captain needs to worry about.
I will tally up the points from each teams' Completion Post and update Messages 2 or 3 in the Reporting Thread with each teams' weekly total. The Scorekeeper can report back to the team with their team's score.
