Adult Potentially Sci-Fi or Dystopian Book with uncomfortable first chapter. Spoilers ahead.

When I was in middle school (somewhere around 2008 to 2011) we were made to do a "find out your reading level" test and then given book recommendations based on what genres you selected as an interest to you. I was placed in college level reading and as such got recommended a very adult book. The first part (pretty sure the first chapter but could be off) had this family in some kind of flying device- I feel as though it was a helicopter. Anyway the internal discussion revolved around something incredibly heinous and after discussing it with my mom I never continued reading it. But to begin with there's a discussion of this family and how either cloning or genetics were played with to create "perfect" children. For what, I can't remember, as it was a decade ago I read this. But Spoiler for the trigger warning incest (view spoiler)[ It's discussed that the daughter was created so perfectly(?) that the dad took to sleeping with her. And it came off as though she recognized that that was just the way it was because of course that was. It was also noted that the either the mother, or just wife in general, was aware of this happening. And I believe she was jealous of her the daughter because of that. (hide spoiler)] Anyway, there might have been a spy like government-esque reason for them being clones/genetically modified, but as I never read further into it I unfortunately only have this limited information to provide.
