YA 80s book similar plot to Tuck Everlasting, main character something like Nora. Spoilers ahead.

Read this in 1990. Plot involves a 17 year old called Nora or Nore. Goes to stay with family, possibly set in America’s South. She starts romance with the boy in the family - I think his name was Gabe or similar.
