We don’t want to scare the pants off of you, so rather than reading HORROR comics, let’s read something spooky and seasonally appropriate this month!

Let us know about your pick - do you recommend it? As a reminder, if you'd like to have your comments on the BotM episode, be sure to include OK TO AIR in your comment before October 30th!

This episode will be available wherever you get your podcasts on November 2nd.

I keep meaning to re-read Spill Zone and I think it would work for this topic.

I also really enjoyed The Haunted Bookstore - Gateway to a Parallel Universe (Manga) Vol. 1 and my library has volume 2, so I will likely pick that up.

Ben | 8 comments I read Witch Hat Atlier, Vol. 1 this month. It was cute and sweet but very predictable and hasn't fully pulled me in yet. Will probably give another volume a shot. This isn't really in my normal repertoire but was fun to branch out a bit.

Stephanie Alyson | 26 comments I will be reading the Comixology original Crema - a ghost story that isn't overly scary

I've been meaning to read this for ages, I think I'll join you and check this one out!

It is neither spooky nor scary, but Pumpkinheads is on sale for $2.99 on kindle and is the perfect little fall read.

Jessica (juicica) | 43 comments I read Cryptid Club for this month. It was almost Ghost/Hellboy Special but then I saw the horror tag (might still read it anyway!)

Cryptid Club was so cute and fun, exactly what you'd expect from the Sarah's Scribbles author. It was definitely a refreshing change from all the (scary) spooky reads and watches this time of year. Highly recommend for a light Halloween read!

OK TO AIR

Nancy | 174 comments In addition to Andersen's Cryptid Club, her book Fang about an emo vampire and werewolf who fall in love would be a good choice!
