I'm really looking forward the Heavenly Tyrant for thi prompt, I hope I actually can get it this year.
Windfall: The Prairie Woman Who Lost Her Way and the Great-Granddaughter Who Found Her by Erika Bolstad. I find the subtitle of this book a bit misleading, as it was less about the search for Anna, the author's grandmother, and what the author discovered about her, than about the environmental and other issues related to the oil industry in North Dakota. So it wasn't what I was looking for, despite having a good bit of interesting information. It was a bit repetitive, but all in all, a decent read. 3 stars.
To Swoon and to Spar by Martha Waters. This is the newest book in the Regency Vows series, coming out this April. https://cdnbookworm.blogspot.com/2023...
I read The Cherokee Rose: A Novel of Gardens and Ghosts by Tiya Miles - to be published June 13, 2023 (won a proof copy in a Goodreads giveaway)
“Pineapple Street” by Jenny Jackson. Meh. Rich people problems. “You never know what might happen and you’ll need all 37+million dollars”. Could not find sympathy or empathy for majority of the characters.
I read Clytemnestra by Costanza Casati -- about Agamemnon's wife/murderer. It's quite gritty and at pains to be historically accurate, as far as is possible: quite dark.
I am using Earth’s the Right Place for Love by Elizabeth Berg for this prompt. Mostly because it doesn’t fit any of the other props and it really was not my favorite book but it fits the description. I gave this three stars because it was so slow and mundane that I would not recommend it.
Walk the Blue Line: They Walk the Line between Life and Death by James Patterson and Matt Eversmann 5 stars

Anna, I loved Maame, used that for Prompt of a book by Macmillan. Hope you loved 🥰 it, too
I loved
, by Eleanor Shearer. I love the Cover Alone. It has special meaning, as you look at it closer see Beautiful Birds. Those Represent the children Eleanor has, but does not know where are, as she was a Slave. Beautiful Story. 5 🌟 Book❣️
I Know Who You Are: How an Amateur DNA Sleuth Unmasked the Golden State Killer and Changed Crime Fighting Forever by Barbara Rae-Venter 10 stars for her amazing achievement
I read Unstoppable by KA Knight.Wow! Was a bit out of my normal comfort zone but loved it all the same.
Hannah Dolby - No Life for a Lady. It's all right. Not the most exciting or the worst mystery I've read. The cover is my sore point, because it doesn't match the content.

And for our final prompt of 2023, a book published this year! You may be saving this prompt for a special book that you’re been eagerly awaiting, or you may decide to keep this prompt open and “wing it” with a newly published, popular read. This also could be interpreted as a book that’s out in paperback or audio for the first time but was previously published in another format. It’s up to you!
