Zermeena wrote: "Is there a way to view the spine on GR or Amazon?" I don't think so. It there is one you are questioning the facebook group would be great help. Or looking at a library.
Zermeena wrote: "Is there a way to view the spine on GR or Amazon?" I'm having the same issue since I usually only read e-books. I tried Google images and not finding there either. Guess this means taking a trip to B&N at some point (a treat for me), or checking out the books at Costco which I do anyway so neither will be a hardship.
If you look for images of bookstacks or #bookstack they usually picture the spine. I did that for some prompt last year.
Dangerous Beauty by Melissa Koslin. I received this as part of a 52 Book Club Giveaway late last year. It fits this prompt and I really enjoyed it. This was a new author for me and I will definitely be checking to see what else she has published. 4⭐️‘s
I read
The Christmas Scrapbook by Philip Gulley A charming Holiday story about a Pastor and the gift idea that did Not go to plan. The characters in this small town are delightful. Enjoy.
I found a few on my bookshelf have a "style of font that mimics handwriting or traditional cursive writing." Sharing for those who might be having trouble finding an option. The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society

How the States Got Their Shapes
Murcheston: The Wolf's Tale
“Like Water for Chocolate” (originally “Como auga para chocolate”). The title on the cover of American publication from 1992 is done in beautiful script. Could also fill the “About Sisters” challenge
https://i0.wp.com/indesignskills.com/.... The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell. Gorgeous edition of a gorgeous book. I didn't fall in love with Cloud Atlas, because the structure took me out of the narrative, but by making the structure (only slightly) more linear with The Bone Clocks, Mitchell got me so engrossed in this book that I found myself making time to read it every chance I got (I even put a caller on hold at work so I could finish a sentence). Loved the characters, marvelled at Mitchell's ability to put the reader inside each character's head, and at his mastery of language. This needs to be adapted into a series...right bloody now!
Anyone know if The World Played Chess by Robert Dugoni has script on spine? I can only find pictures of cover and back.
Cheryl wrote: "Anyone know if The World Played Chess by Robert Dugoni has script on spine? I can only find pictures of cover and back."I just did a search of the book title on instagram and can confirm that it is the same script font on the spine.
Just finished The Emerald Storm, the fifth Ethan Gage novel by William Dietrich. It takes place during the Haitian Slave Revolution, so could be used for prompt #18 as well.
I read Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret which at least some of the editions have script font. A classic from my childhood!
The First Mrs Rothschild, by Sara Aharoni. How the Rothschild's became international financiers, through the eyes of the founder's wife. A bit of ick when one of her sons marries his niece--and everyone is fine with it. But that sort of thing used to go on quite a bit pre-19th century. Quite a few generations in the Spanish royal lineage did the same thing.
Moon Spinners by Sally Goldenbaumhttps://titlesurfingwithtraci.blogspo...

Christmas Bells by Jennifer Chiaverini. I read this one after watching the movie I Heard the Bells, about Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Loved the movie, and loved this book too!

What is a script font? Script font is a style of font that mimics handwriting or traditional cursive writing. For this prompt, we want to see script font on the spine, either as the book title or the author’s name. As long as there is some script font on the spine somewhere, it fits this prompt!
As a reminder, different editions of books will have different styles. You may choose to read this on an e-reader or listen to the book on audio, and that’s completely fine! As long as at least one edition has script font on the spine, it doesn’t matter what your personal copy looks like.
