Must be active in the buddy discussion to count for the points. Minimum of two comments talking about the contents of the book, not only "It's good, I like this/that."
I won't be starting this today, soon I have to go to work, and after I get off I'm just going to bed. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have time to start it.

Also extremely thankful that we are reading in order including the Alpha & Omega. I would be a bit confused if I hadn't known the ending of the last one.
Have fun at work!
😂 thanks for telling me that I have to know the ending of the previous book, because I don't remember it. I looked at my list of the books and haven't checked the last book we read and I thought we were supposed to read an A&O book.

You don't have to remember. She explains enough that it wouldn't be confusing. However, she makes lots of references to events in that one and even River Marked, the last Mercy one, that I appreciate knowing the full events that happened.
I started the book! I didn't look up the previous books because I'm feeling lazy and would much rather watch Veronica Mars than read 😅 😂 but like you said there's a recap so I kinda remembered what happened. And yes, I'm glad we are reading all the books in the universe, so we know the other book's characters.
It looks like the pack can't have a minute to breathe in peace, there's always something happening to someone. I'll see how I feel about it by the end, but I think that because it's a longer series I'm getting a bit "annoyed" that in every book some big catastrophe is happening... like I get shit happening and we need things to happen for the book to be interesting but it feels repetitive in one hand.
But moving on.. Asil appeared here! I'm excited to see more of him. I read only 5 chapters, and maybe I'll pick it up a bit later to read more, but no promises.

Love that Asil joined this one!!
😂 Fae zombies this is new one.
I feel bad for Mercy, she again lost her free will, thankfully nothing bad had happened.
I liked that she was able to take the silver through the bond and help Adam and the pack, it's too bad it's a skill she won't be able to do again. Or maybe she could but taking out the silver out of her body.. ouch.
I just finished chapter 10, and I don't know if I'll be able to finish the book before going to work so maybe I'll finish it tomorrow. Wow, it's all about the vampires.. I didn't expect that. I'm intrigued who is this vampire person that is bonding the ghost to themselves, and why they are doing it, and also how Peter hasn't moved on and Mercy can still feel him through the pack bond which I assume has something to do with her ghost ability. I wonder if other's can feel that he's still connected, probably not.

It is great that she is growing in her powers as she feels more comfortable with the Coyote's gifts, both the silver and with the ghosts. The vampire thing was unexpected since it seemed to start in a completely different space- zombie fae and such. It is a fun ending.
I don't know if it was because I wasn't able to organize myself to read normally, but I feel like the whole book was a bit all over the place? It could also have something to do with not really remembering what happened in the previous books.
Overall it was good, glad we had some Asil here.

I enjoyed it because I always enjoy but I think she was overreaching trying to fit in too many people and touch on too many overarching story ideas. It was a bunch of mini-events strung together to keep the action going than one cohesive story.
But still very enjoyable.

I usually don't love the decimal additions to series but I am enjoying these and find them useful for better understanding the universe and the people. I'm glad you suggested them!
