I'm just over half way through my PNR book :)
ETA: Found a book :D"
Will the pumpkin category be tagged pumpkin, or pumpkin on cover, or some other qualification?
I believe all the Nocturne Falls books have pumpkins on the cover, and they are in KU right now.

There are only 2 shelves left that are not winning shelves for at least 1 team!
Sandra, am I correct in assuming that the Guild Hunter series works for the Hunter category? If so, I'll save the latest audio of that one just in case!

That's so frustrating! That's what we were experiencing last week. My mom had AT&T come out to check it out, and the guy said, "I'll see what I can do, but the equipment is all 30 years old"!

Yes, that works.

This story follows directly after

The Voodoo Queens want Jade to be THE Voodoo Queen, for their own project of saving NOLA which is sinking and Sandro can help with that with his magic poetry reading. A deal is made and Sandro does his thing & the Voodoo Queens start clearing out the Choirs creating the storms.
This is a unique magic world building and very interesting.
The bad guy is very bad, and trying to look so, so good. Hopefully he gets his in the next book!

Balthazar is trying to get the demon Devina out of him because he knows that she will cause harm to any and all around him. He falls for a human who Devina is determined to get rid of because she knows that true love is the only thing that can stop her from going after who she is determined to be hers. She soon realizes that Balthazar is not who she is destined to be with but must destroy his and Erica's love in order for her destined mate to be hers. This story brings new characters into the mix and old ones that we thought were forever gone.

This is a wonderful series, that gets better with every new book. One of the reasons why, is the interactions with all characters whether MC or secondary. Just like the In Death series but funnier.
Beverley is nearing the time to give birth to the twins but Peter is busy running up to Manchester & back to London, to try to solve the mystery & deaths of 2 men, by the Angel of Death. And trying to save the other people on the hit list, the hit list being magical rings made in medieval times in Spain.
Lesley is once again popping up being a pain in the Polices' butts but saving Peter several times as well.
It's a shame that Nightingale is relegated to a secondary character throughout the series as he has a fascinating history as does DCI Seawoll, who actually comes from Manchester and seems to have mellowed from previous books.
Looking forward to the next book and watching Peter being a father.
And also to see how many tv tie-ins BA can sandwich into the book. Star Trek, X Files, Lord of the Rings being a few in this book.

It's tagged Ghost by 2 people, so you're good!

Yay! Then we'll only have Ghosts to do.
I'm guessing that next week might be the end of this round of Bingo, as so many teams, including us, have 3 in a row.

Review: Admittedly, as a paranormal book, the premise of this books is automatically far-fetched. But the situations within the Cassandra Palmer books seem to be a bit more far-fetched than many others. I do love the story, though. It's just a fun guilty-pleasure read.

No worries Laura. Enjoy the trip & Thanksgiving with your dad!!!

Blythe is on the run from her step father because he is out to kill her. She ends up in Ash Grove where everything is not what it seems. This town is not on the map but she is there. They celebrate Halloween all month long and the celebrations will leave you questioning what you have just saw. The drama of why Blythe is being hunted will bring drama and open her eyes to what is going on in the town and that the things that she has experienced has been real and she questions everything.
Blythe has gained the attention of the Halloween Boys which is normally not a good thing but once they find out more about her, their mission changes. They will do everything to protect her from who or what is seeking her because no one should be able to find their town. This story is full of drama and you will not want to put it down because you will want to see what happens next.

I love this series, but as each story builds from the previous book, they must be read in order.
This a series built on characters, it is a wolf pack that is slowly rebuilding from terrible events that happened before the first book. As it goes along we see babies born, couples get together, new packmates, old packmates, friends made with other supernatural packs, birds, cats, bears.
This time we see Bailey come to terms with her new role in the pack, she is a dominant, but now doesn't need to be the strong, shadowleader she's been for the last 6 years. Now she can relearn how to dream, wish, be. Whilst still helping her pack.
And the Sentinel, Rio, is trying very hard to get her attention and trying too hard with bad poetry. As he's a magic wolf, he thinks he should be able to do this alone, but plenty of wolves, cats & bears have advice for him, whether he wants it or not.
Looking forward to the next book.

We were in Asheville, North Carolina last night. I loved it, but I think it gets too much snow for us.

Review: Can we all just agree that Omegaverse doesn't really belong in the Urban Fantasy category, in-and-of-itself? I know some Omegaverse is Sci-Fi, some is specific to shifters, and a lot is dystopian. But an awful lot of Omegaverse is just contemporary romance with a slight twist. And that's what this one is. I'm really glad I was able to use it for Bingo, but it doesn't belong in this category.
Don't get me wrong. I thoroughly enjoyed this read. Moon's writing reminds me a bit of Diana Wynne Jones' writing. If she wrote books for adults, rather than YA.
Overall, the book was good. The category, not so much.
