Randy Morrow | 2 comments I read this in the early to mid 70s as a young teenager. The protagonist is a young wealthy American jet-setter who has (and possibly invented) a supersonic sub-orbital space plane able to travel very quickly around the world. I recall the name of the ship was the S.W.I.F.T., an acronym that I think the S was for Supersonic, and the T was for Transport - don't recall the rest. I think he was supposed to have reported directly to the President of the United States. He also had an instant plastic surgery technology that he could use to disguise himself - a pill he would swallow, in conjunction with a (hormonal?) cream that he would spread on the areas of his body that he wanted to reshape. For a short while, the bones would become plastic enough to remold, then would harden in the new form. Any ideas would be appreciated.
