So it’s almost midnight, I’m reading my book and before falling asleep decide I should screenshot the mpg since this book is new and very light on anything sports…the mpg sports is gone 😔. I’ll pick a new book tomorrow but it’ll probably now be Friday before I finish it with quidditch and everything. Should’ve screen shotted earlier!

I've been loving this series, it's a good one to pick up and put down whenever I'm in the mood for a sexy, sports romance. Eden Finley and Saxon James make a great team.
Extra nice because the audio version is performed by Alexander Cendese, Iggy Toma. I'm not a huge fan of dual narrators, but these two guys make it work.
I'm done too... I love this series! I'll update my post when I'm home at my laptop. my daughter and I are getting mani pedis (well I'm just getting a pedicure, but it's still nice and relaxing).

never had a mani/pedi??? you've got to treat yourself Janine - it's so relaxing. I never bother with the nails because I'd just wreck them between doing dishes and cleaning and gardening - but I love having my toes done. They rub in all kinds of nice smelling creams, and rub off your calluses and trim up the nails - it's awesome!come to New York and I'll take you!!
Here is your next task!

I'm okay with Lorelei Hart. Lots to choose from and the page counts don't seem quite too high.
But of course I'm also happy to change it. 😊 Which authors do you have lined up next, Janeylou? Maybe one that also works for Bingo? I haven't decided yet on a book for our first Bingo category.
Im going with Strawberries for Dessert by marie sextonas ive been wanting to read it for years Unfortunately dont think any of Lorelei hart books work for bingo but they are shortish so can fit in
They can also be used for free spaces! Marie Sexton has been hit or miss for me so I’d prefer not but can totally do it if everyone else wants to. What do you have for bingo Caipi? I have 2 JL Merrow books (but ones a free space so can change it) and a Sam Burns book.
Happy to change one of my free spaces to Lorelei Hart or decide on something else
I haven't had great luck w Lorelei Hart tbh. why did we pick them? lol. JL Merrow I love, Marie Sexton I like. I could do Maz too.

Still haven't decided yet but I own Pressure Head, so JL Merrow would work for me too. What about you, Janeylou?
I dont need any excuse to read a JL Merrow , will see what ive got ...as we dont ALL have to privilege of reading her new arc 😄😄😄I dont know how Lorelei hart got there ..i copied from last time 😄😄

Review: really like Merrows writing; its unapologetically British, and always has the right amount of humor and wit. I’m a huge fan of mysteries and I quite enjoyed this one, I was never able to figure out whodunnit, but it also didn’t feel like there were pointless red herrings. The romance is light, but there; and I hope we get to see it develop further in future installments

Thhis was a lot different to many JLM books i have read , not a humorous book at all , but a book about anmesia..
Paul cant remeber the last year of his his which includes the death of his partner. When he returned to Iceland hes constantly going in circles not knowing what and who to believe but convince that everyone is not telling the whole truth .
Beautifully written and i spent most of my time seaching google.for all the wonderful places decribed

I've had this book on my TBR shelf for six years already, but somehow it never grabbed me to actually read it until I needed it now for Bingo and The Amazing Race. And I enjoyed it very much! That's one of the main reasons I like all of our challenge so much. They get me to read books that I would otherwise just put off again and again.
Now for the story, an exciting murder investigation, led not only by the police, but also by the two really interesting main characters, Tom, the plumber and Phil, a private investigator.
The investigation had me guessing left and right about the culprit and the snark had me chuckling all along.
I'm looking forward to reading the next installment in the series!
I finally got the email about the Audible sale... and have already spent $20. I've got to control myself!!!I'm done - Janeylou, are you still reading?
LOVE JL Merrow. Played! was so funny!
I haven't read that one yet Janeylou... the other one I just got (that's been on my tbr shelf for ages) is Wight Mischief. It turned up on KU - don't remember seeing it there before.

I like Turf Wars actually! It's one of those easy ones I can slot books I'm reading in into to help out. I'm a little miffed there doesn't seem to be spell outs this time. I asked about it because I think there should be but haven't yet received a response.

But it hasnt been mentioned at all from what i can tell
Yeah right now I'm just keeping a list I can add but if they don't do it I'll have a bunch of 1x multipliers. Also I don't think reviews are required for this challenge I think we just decided to do them. It says "a small review is also welcome" so I think we could check in
