The book is about a rich kid being escorted by some bodyguards back home on a helicopter when they suddenly are obligated to go through the top of a mountain. When going through they are caught in a storm and fall into a valley that was hidden on the summit. In this valley lies a ruined city filled with monsters and human-animal hybrids.
He gets rescued by a type of lion/cat girl. They fall in love.
The kid discovers elves and that his father was the one responsible for the accident and enslavement of the human-animal hybrids. His father is the last high-elf and revered like a god.
Kid wages war on his father.
