Future based females rule the world and males have died from viruses

Okay so this is all I can recall:
novel where a woman who is in a relationship with another woman is sent to get pregnant to repopulate the world, women rule and males are the weaker gender after a plague wipes most of them out. She ends up falling for the sperm donor and he invites her to a group of people who believe males were meant to be with females and not enslaved.
