Review: This was my second Jessa Kane book. The story wasn't unique or anything and it was so OTT... but I enjoyed it for what it was. I can see myself reading more of JK's books when I'm in the mood for these types of straight to the point stories.

I enjoyed the first book in this series and that was pleased to find out that book 2 had been released.
This book picks up where the last one left off.
I liked the fact that there was no drama or angst even though they had to deal with Jameson's sister Amy.

Review:
This was a typical trope that had no surprise twists in the story and that was the only downfall for me. The MCs and side characters were absolutely amazing and I fell in love with them all. Alex and Wren had chemistry from the beginning and you saw them falling in love from a mile away. While I do wish there was at least one chapter with some angst in it, it was an overall very well written book with both sweet and hot scenes.

This was a bit too much daddy/little girl kink for me... I have found my limit. He wiped her after she peed.. to each their own, but not for me, thanks. Overall, this was entertaining, but the romance wasn't great and it was a bit over the top.

Review: This is the starting novella for K. Wheeler's
Rebel Lords of London Series. It's a prequel for the main characters story in book 1. It shows how Lorelai and Thorne meet. It was quite sweet. I enjoyed this and I will definitely read more of the series.

I don't like historical because of the dangers these men were facing simply by following their nature. But this book didn't give me these constricted feelings. Of course it is mentioned that it is against the law and they have yo be careful to keep their relationship a secret but it is all done in a way it doesn't feel repressing to me. And the setting is great. I was on va action in Oxford and Cambridge this year and have the setting before my minds eye so it gives the book an extra layer

Review: I don't quite often read books that are slice of life type books. I can only think of two other books that I've read like that. Overall this was a super cute, feel-good, wholesome story that I enjoyed. I also loved the insight this book gave into the world of academia. There were errors and inconsistencies in the story that detracted from the reading experience, hence the 3 star rating.

It took me a while to get into the story. At first, there were too many characters for me to keep them all straight.
Eventually though I did get into it and it was an ok story. It set the beginnings of Simon and Jeremy and I think they might be a fun ride.

I just could not get into this book. I was super excited to read it since I haven't read many books where one of the MCs was autistic and the other was depressed. I struggled following along and I just think I couldn't give it my full attention. There was so much going on and I think I missed so much. I will definitely want to read it again when I have time to see if I just wasn't in the right head space to get through it.

I was really intrigued when I read the summary for this book because it reminded of one of my favorites. I really liked it because of how lovable the characters are. It was a little cliche about Therians being outcasts and all that but I think I like where the series is going so I cannot wait to start the next.

This was good, but I didn't like it nearly as much as I expected to. I think what threw me off the most was that the FMC was described as being basically perfect- perfect body, perfect hair, perfect attitude... she had men drooling over her and it was just too much for me. The one thing this book really had going for it though was sexual tension.. maybe some of the best I've read? But when they finally did get together it was just meh. I don't know. I'll probably read more of the series.

This was a slowwwww burn, and I loved every minute of it. There is something about post-apocalyptic romances that I can't get enough of-- probably the vulnerability of the characters in placing their trust with someone else. This was definitely a main theme in the book, trust and lack thereof, and I really enjoyed seeing Joshua and Liv slowly breaking down their walls for each other.

Review: This is the first book of the Black Mage series. It reminded me a bit of Harry Potter. Ryiah is at an academy for learning magic. She has a grueling first year trying to beat other applicants for one of 15 apprenticeship places. There is a blossoming romance with a prince. I will read the next book, I enjoyed the story.

Review: This one was alright, not great. I'm not quite sure why, but I just couldn't connect with the MC. The book is basically a murder-mystery, with vampires and witches. I think my favourite character was the cat, to be fair. She's the MC's familiar. Maybe book 2 has more character development.

It was a cute story with the most adorable main and side characters. You started off hating the circumstances of the den and wanted to jump into the story but then Aspen comes and saves the day. It was a little predictable with who the enemy was and how it all ended but I am excited to continue reading the series.
