Zephyer was a dragon shifter stuck in a hell realm for centuries. Juniper was also a dragon shifter with no idea who she really was. This story was so predictable I could basically tell what was going to happen next. The storyline dragged but had some okay scenes. The other books in this series were better.

I loved all the stories especially Pandora and Dante's. The dark, were, and dream hunters stories were very well written and very good to read again and catch up with the ones I missed. A definite recommend.

Review:
I haven't read a historical romance in a really long time, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but it's been on my shelf for a really long time so I decided to give it a chance. I'm so happy I did. I just loved it. The characters were amazing, but Ian especially. He just stole my heart from the very beginning. I'm definitely going to pick up the rest of the series, I can't wait to read about the rest of the brothers.

Barbarian's Touch (Ice Planet Barbarians, #7) by Ruby Dixon Barbarian's Touch by Ruby Dixon, 301 p. per GR
Paperback edition - Barbarian's Touch

Completed 10.2.2022 * 4 Stars*

This series is usually good for a light fun read and this book fit that as well. But it also had more elements. Rokan and Lila had additional communication difficulties with her being deaf and even after he learned ASL, they couldn't 'talk' outdoors without risking frozen fingers. I loved how he saw her as perfect and that was the first thing he told when he could. Her desire to learn to take care of herself and his willingness to teach her, gave her the confidence she had always lacked. Once she understood her 'feelings' were not forced, she was happier than she'd ever been. Now her sister on the other hand... 😒

Interesting additions of the cave greenhouse and the 'yeti' - not sure what will come from that.

I listened to the audio narrated by Hollie Jackson and Mason Lloyd and enjoyed their performances.

MountainKat | 31599 comments Posting that info earlier than I usually would as I expect this is going to be a busy week for me. Hubby and I are leaving Friday to go visit our son and his family all the way on the other side of the country! I usually travel alone, hubby isn't a big fan, so planning is a little different this time. I'm usually trying to make sure he has enough food to last till I get back and this time I am trying to make sure we don't leave anything to spoil! That is a completely different mindset!

I definitely won't be here to post the new theme for Week 5 when it is called - feel free to post it here if you see it first. 😊 I will try to check and see what it is so I can start reading while we are traveling because I expect not to have a lot of reading time while playing with our grandson and visiting the rest of the family.

I likely won't be able to post the theme for Week 6 either, will be visiting my folks then - still on the other side of the country.

Review - I thought I was going to enjoy this book a lot more than I actually did.. I felt that the writing was poor. I did some digital reading and I listened to the audio book and the audio performance was poor. The girl really butchered a Scottish accent, and the mix between the Scottish accent and an Italian accent just didn't do it for me.

Review: This was very different to anything I’d read before. I don’t read science fiction books but this although was romance it has science fiction in it as well. To start off what drew me to the book was the bright pink cover and the eye catching cover. I loved the three of the main characters Indiana and Lina and Jack. Secondary characters were sweet too and there was surprising some sad moments in this love story. I was rooting for them all to get their happy ending. There’s a woman Cameron who downright evil that I wanted to slap her to the ends of the earth. She made my blood boil. I haven’t read Bethany’s first book but I might now give it a try as I loved her writing.

Review: This was ok. I liked the characters and the story was sweet, it just didn't bowl me over and make me want to read the rest of the series. There wasn't any real conflict, it was just the jock Simon trying to figure out what to do with the rest of his life since he couldn't play football anymore. I was kind of annoyed at how he kept insisting that the geek, Topher, be his tutor, but then they'd ditch classes to have sex all the time. It made it hard to take Simon's angst about his future seriously.

Review This is my second book by Elle Kennedy and I can’t believe I waited so long to read her. I read the first in the off campus series The deal and loved that and this is the first in the spin off series and I loved that. My favourite characters were Summer and Colin. And also loved Hunter but also wanted to slap him for some of his actions. There was a character called Nora who I had a love hate relationship with and in the end I had warmed to her. I’m looking forward to read the rest of this series and the off camp series.

I really enjoyed Sofia and Scotty aka Gabriel story, it was humorous the way they met on the plane. The.sexual tension was palpable, characters from idol were great to see how they were doing and to see Ice man Scotty turn to mush. Very enjoyable read definitely recommend this series.

Good, fun story! I enjoyed getting to know the MacKilligan sisters and can't wait to read more!

I listened to the audio and enjoyed it, but had some issues as well. This was a different narrator (Tracy Odom) from earlier books in the connected world. Lots of character overlap, but it didn't seem like there was any effort for characters to sound even similar. Some even had accents they didn't have or were MUCH more pronounced than with the other narrator. Overall good, but jarring when known characters were on the page.

This was just delightful! Well, until the end - but being a duet I was expecting that. I loved the banter and the humor between TJ and Jude and their chemistry was steaming! I expected some sort of conflict to come at the end, but it was more hurtful than I would have liked. Now I can't wait to see these two come together again!!

I loved the full cast narration, with the main characters being narrated by Teddy Hamilton and Shane East. They were so good!

Review:
This was really fun, sweet and sexy. It sort of reminded me of Sex & the City, with the setting in Manhatten, and the fun, flirty chemistry between the two MCs. But there was also a sweet and tender side to the story that really made it a great read. Zach may be a shark as a divorce attorney, but he is the most devoted dad to his two kids, which just made me melt just a bit. And Piper, the wedding planner, does anything and everything for her friends and family. But what I really loved about the story was the honesty between them. There weren't any silly mindgames or misunderstandings that muddied up the romance developing between them. This was definitely a feel good story that brightened up my day.
