I am so enjoying this series and can't wait to continue with the Honey Badger spinoff! There is always humor even amidst the drama. The mystery/drama keeps the story moving, the humor keeps it on the lighter side.

Well narrated by Charlotte Kane. The characterizations of all the diverse personalities in the story/series add so much to the experience!

Another great addition to the Pride series, made even better in audio! I really enjoyed this, liked the characters and their story. It sure didn't feel like it was all over though!

Review: I don't know what the special ingredient is that makes this series, and especially this book, so darn amazing, but it never fades even after numerous readings. I always feel like I'm reading it for the first time, feeling the same intense emotions it evoked when I read it 10 years ago. Hawke and Sienna are an amazing couple, but I also love the side stories included in this book. The developing romance between Walker and Lara, as well as the start of the battles between the Psy and the Packs, it all coalesces to make this one story one of the best in the series.

Review: This was my first book by this author. I choose it because I love books about dating and social media. I really enjoyed this. My favourite characters were America Dan and Elle Shaw. The secondary characters were good as well. I took a dislike to Vee Ellie’s boss as she was just out for herself.

Review: This was my first book by Ancelli. I’d never heard of this author before and found her through a challenge I was doing in a group. The book deals with some serious subjects and their done so sensitively. The book surprisingly also had humour mixed in which I enjoyed. Some of the words written down were so powerful and heart wrenching that I wanted to reach in and hug the characters.

I love anything related to social media and the first thing that attracted me to it was the title.. This was a quick read and I devoured it in two days. I’d highly recommend this read to anyone looking for something with a difference

Hi Shandrea, thanks for posting your completion, but you are going to need to do more of a review than that. From the signups thread, message #2:

"Each team member must return to their team thread and post a short review of the book that they read. This review should be enough to indicate that the member DID read the book. A couple of sentences is sufficient. "I liked it" is not."

Jane requires a short review for this challenge. It has to be more than a sentence or two.

I was looking forward to the story about a mixed race indian girl experience with her cultural. This listen was "painful"?
For anyone that loved this book, I am glad you enjoyed it. But for me it is my honest opinion:
This book was 400 pages of slow and painful uninteresting scenes repeated over and over again followed by very few pages of a little action. How did I make it to the end!? Seriously, I have never struggled so much to finish a book. It was... painful.

Review: This was an interesting, somewhat over the top, but still engaging story that was set in Africa, a first for me. I don't usually find stories set somewhere so exotic, so this was a treat for me. But it was the characters that really stood out. Amiri and Rikki are very different from each other physically, but they have emotional and physical scars that have shaped the people that they've become. They're very similar in their approach to life and how they deal with other people. But when they meet, it's quickly obvious that they feel an instant draw towards each other. I loved seeing how they come to terms with their feelings, all while being chased by the very *very* bad men who are chasing them through the jungle. The suspense part of the story was pretty intense, but honestly, it was their relationship that kept me intrigued.

As MKat noted, I need more than a few words for the review. Your review above could apply to any book. I need a few sentences that show that you actually read the book. It doesn't need to long or complex. Eg. something about the characters, the style of writing and/or the plotline :)

This is a great story - well told by the author and well narrated by Susan Ericksen. Tough subject - very bad cops, but dealt with by some very good cops. I never like it when evil wins - that is why I read the books I do! So it was enjoyable to good triumph once again, even if it is imaginary.

June 15, 2017
Loved this one! It had a lot of humor which is good because it was a tough subject, especially for our favorite characters. I had the fun experience of sharing this with my hubby on a road trip and he enjoyed it too! He laughed out loud at points and liked the characters and story, even though it was his first book in the series. Yay!

The audio with Susan Ericksen narrating was as wonderful as expected.

Review I honestly don’t know how the author manages to put out so many books each year, but still maintain such good quality stories. This is a good example. Even though the plot is pretty formulaic, following the usual storyline for a rivals to lovers book, the MCs are both well-rounded and engaging. I completely bought into their romance. My only nitpick here would be the name dropping of other side characters that were obviously from other related books. I felt like I was missing a piece of the puzzle because I didn’t know the history or how they related to this story. It was a bit annoying, but didn’t detract too much from how much I enjoyed this book.
