Vie Matally | 2 comments Bear with me; my description is a huge "I think" since it's been a long time since I've even held the book. I'm not 100% certain about any of this.

I believe this book was written in the 2000s. I read it some time during 2016-2018. I also think this book was the first in a trilogy.
The main character was a 16-18 y/o female that went to a high school as a psi weakling with other psychic teens. Not sure if she had a family, but she did have a male love interest (later boyfriend) that tagged along in her later journey. The two main parts of the book I remember were a couple villains, two psychic twins/siblings, that hunt them down and try to kill them throughout the book (I don't remember theirs or the main duo's motive for doing anything), and a section where they fly to an psychic Olympics-style competition that the main girl or the twins end up destroying.
The psi powers themselves consisted of at least flying, telekinesis, super strength. I think the main girl can only do some telekinesis, but eventually learns how to fly and then learns other powers later on.
I apologize that I forgot much of the plot such as motives or side characters, but I just remember really enjoying the book (YA sci-fi was one of the only types of books I read back then) and I want to try and read it again.
