I loved Devil's Daughter. I like how Phoebe changed her mind so quickly about West. She realized that you couldn't hold a person's childhood actions against them forever.
I loved the children and the way they took to West immediately. Children often sense a person's true nature. They knew West was a person to trust. West was a fun person for the kids to be around.
West! He was so full of self-hate that it hurt my heart. He couldn't see any way to have Phoebe for the long term and knew no one else could take her place. I love that Sebastian understood West and helped get him to see the error in his thoughts.

I loved both West and Phoebe. They were fantastic characters who deserved a happy ending. I'm usually not a fan of the "I'm not good enough for her" theme, but it didn't annoy me this time around.

I loved that Phoebe and West were equals in terms of wit, strength of character and intelligence. They actually liked one another, which went a long way towards Phoebe forgiving him for bullying Henry. There romance developed nicely, taking its time even after they became intimate.
The romance surpassed my expectations and they were pretty high. West’s relationship with Phoebe’s children was so heartwarming. They are already showing up as a family.
