SOLVED. Fiction book (maybe a series, I'm not sure) about 4 children. [s]

The book is about two sets of siblings, a brother and a sister, and then 2 brothers. I know that one of their names was Levi. The books starts off with them having their struggles at school and with each other, but then one way or another they meet up in another dimension/world together. They are directed to find water in order to be teleported (i think) to where they can be given instructions. When they do so, they meet an animal like character named Ruwatch. He gives them special boots and sends them on a journey through the lands in which they get separated and all go through their own individual challenges. I know that Levi fails one of his challenges and gets stuck and they all have to journey to save him.

Could it be The Prince Warriors by Priscilla Shirer and Gina Detwiler. There are characters called Xavier Blake, Levi Arthur, Evan Blake, Brianna Turner, Manuel Santos, and Ruwach (a mysterious sage, counselor and guide)
