SOLVED. YA Book about girl and her evil twin ghost who died in the womb, published circa 2014. [s]

This below summary is a copy from an unsolved old reddit post by someone else. It's the same YA book and much better than I can remember! I read this in 2014, think it came out that year. I borrowed it from a friend who bought it in Italy, but it was in English. Maybe it was an Italian author? I've been searching for this book for about 5 years now, someone PLEASE help me.

This girl moved to a new place with her mother and met this Cool Girl. The girl turned was actually her twin sister who died in the womb, but you discover that a lot later in the book. The twin wanted to be the girls only friend, and became jealous when the girl started making friends at school. She tried to convince the girl she didn't need friends, that they were all annoying, how awful they were, etc. I remember that one of the friends pronounced "probably" like "prolly" and the twin convinced the girl that it was bad (I remember that because I had a friend who said "prolly" and I didn't think it was that bad). Then there was a picture of the girl eating a fetus (like how she absorbed her twin in the womb) drawn in the bathroom wall. Somewhere in this time frame, the mother became pregnant, and it was going to be with twins. I'm pretty sure the girl/her twin attacked one of her friends? I could be wrong about that part. I remember the twin had a plan to burn down the tree house with both of them in it so they could be reborn as twins again. But at the last minute, the girl chickened out. She survived, the tree house burned down, and the mother gave birth. One of the daughters was the reincarnation of the twin, the other was a stillborn.

Additional details: I think the main character was part of a cross country team. There was also some significance with a pair of boots. Her dad had recently passed away at the beginning of the book but halfway through there's a random alternate universe where it's actually her mom and it switches back after a chapter. The book cover was also greeny blue too
