Option 1 - Dochters van Cane River, Penmarric, Trophy Hunt, The Glass Castle
Option 2 -
Option 3 - Sisters in Arms
Option 4 -

For option 3-
Can we read science fiction where someone moves from one planet to another? (Or planet to moon, etc.?)

Dochters van Cane River
work?"
That sounds like it even has an extra generation thrown in! Yes that one works.

Sisters in Arms"
Deployment would work as that is definitely not like visiting! Moving for a job works, so I would say military deployment also works. And it sounds like both their American location and the overseas location are represented in the book

The description says "the first act in a tempestuous drama that was to span three generations...." and this review says "An enthralling story that spans 3 generations of the Casttallack".
(I'm including the review link to clarify because the description could be read as meaning that this is the first book in a series with different generations in different books, which is not the case.)

I thought so too, but wanted to be sure that I understood the heart of the task.
Thanks! I think I picked out a good one this month!

The description says "the first act in a tempestuous drama that was to span three generations...." and this review says "An enthralling ..."
Sounds like 3 generations to me!

Trophy Hunt
From the paperback GR description:
..."game warden Joe Pickett is fly-fishing with his two daughters when"... "The bodies of two men are found within hours of each other, in separate locations"... {One of those locations is the ranch where Joe's mother-in-law, Missy Vankueran, and her fiancé live.]
3 generations: 1)Joe Pickett, wife Marybeth, 2)MIL Missy Vankueran , 3) his daughters Lucy & Sheridan

Missy is Marybeth's mother and grandmother to the two girls

Missy is Mary..."
Ok sounds good! I'll add it to the approved list!

The book is The Glass Castle
The generations: Jeannette Walls (daughter, third generation), Rex Walls (father, second generation), Erma Walls (grandmother, first generation)

What you did here is fine - just list the characters and their relationships. I will add this to the approved list. I think you could either just copy your reference in your claiming post or link to the approval post here.

It is not on the main page, so I would like to get this book approved for the 3 generations, The Book Eaters. It has Uncle Aike (patriarch), Devon (Aike’s niece), Cai (Devon’s son).

For the Owens family, love is a curse that began in 1620, when Maria Owens - 1 generation in 1620
and then
Susanna Owens knows that her three children are dangerously unique. - 2 generations hundreds of years later

I am in my mid-40s and the hubs and I were looking forward to exploring life on our own. But circumstances this year ended up with both my mother and my adult daughter moving in with us so no more empty nest. So this task is dedicated to my mom and daughter.
This is a two book task. Choose two different options and state which options you choose.
1.Read a book that includes three generations of ONE family as characters or subjects.
Circle of Three the interconnected lives of three generations of women
The House of the Spirits three generations of the Trueba family
Required: Include a reference if the three generations are not identifiable on the GR main page
2. Cassidy - My daughter was named after a Grateful Dead Song. Read a book with a word of at least 4 letters from one of the tracks on the album Reckoning in the TITLE (subtitles excluded). Word must match exactly. For this task hyphenated words can be separated.
Required:state the word.
*Bonus item - listen to the song Cassidy :)

The Race Is On
Oh Babe, It Ain't No Lie
It Must Have Been The Roses
Dark Hollow
China Doll
Been All Around This World
Monkey And The Engineer
Jack-A-Roe
Deep Elem Blues
Cassidy
To Lay Me Down
Rosa Lee McFall
On The Road Again
Bird Song

3. Jennifer - My mom is a traveler - and she moves A LOT. I don’t even write down her address anymore because it is bound to change soon. She even has dual citizenship because one country just isn’t enough!
Read a book where a main character moves (not visits) to a new state, province, country, or planet during the course of the book. The starting location and the resulting location must both be a setting in the book.
Ex. The Four Winds Texas, 1934. Millions are out of work and a drought has broken the Great Plains....Elsa Martinelli—like so many of her neighbors—must make an agonizing choice: fight for the land she loves or go west, to California"
Required: If the move is not evident on the GR main page, include a reference.
4. Jennifer and Cassidy both have double letters in their names. Read a book with an author who has a double letter (must be next to each other) in their FIRST name. So Ann would work (double Ns next to each other) but not Adele (has two Es but not next to each other. Initials do not count (so no e.e. cummings).
