I found this group from your youtube announcement video about 2022 blackaweenathon!

I took a break from Lakewood because some of the repeat literary devices were really getting on my nerves and the audiobook was not helping. I hope you like your other reads :D I switched over to vampires and immortals

I created another thread in this group for my TBR with links to about 10 books if you need some recs!
I'm currently reading Like a Sister and enjoying it a lot.

seven so far, i doubled up on a couple prompts :)
the keeper · tananarive due
the getaway · lamar giles
the ballad of black tom · victor lavalle
miles morales: spider-man · jason reynolds
the dark-thirty · patricia c mckissack
house of hunger · alexis henderson
while justice sleeps · stacey abrams
i really enjoyed the ballad of black tom despite not liking a previous victor lavalle i've read (the devil in silver), and i really did not enjoy miles morales: spider-man despite loving everything else from jason reynolds i've read! just thought that was something interesting that came up :')
i've one more book i plan to read for blackoweenathon:
the weight of blood · tiffany d jackson
hope everyone else's readathon is going/has gone well!

My final list:
Ghost Summer by Tananarive Due
Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké- Íyímídé
The Ballad of Black Tom - Victor LaValle
I’m also doing overtime with Beloved - Toni Morrison because I got busy at the end of the month and couldn’t finish in time.
