For those of you who don't know me I will start by introducing myself : )
My name is Robin. I reside in Middle Tennessee. Just a few miles south of Nashville. I'm currently unemployed awaiting approval for disability. I live with my elderly parents so that I can assist them as much as I am able. I have 2 grown sons, 2 grandsons, 2 step granddaughters and 1 furbaby.
I have been a member of GR for 11 years. I was really active in groups and challenges and had to take a break for several years due to real life. I just started getting active in groups again this year. I am addicted to challenges.
My favorite genres are YA, Juvenile Fiction, and Historical Fiction. I will pretty much read anything but not overly fond of NF and horror. Romance is another genre that I don't generally read a lot from. I used to but got burnt out on it.
I own a lot of books, but tend to ignore them because of all the new library books that I place on hold. I listen to a lot of audiobooks simply because I can multi-task while listening. I prefer a physical book over an ebook, although I own tons of ebooks lol Yes, I am a book hoarder : )
Besides reading I enjoy crafts,crochet, gardening(vegetable), fishing,traveling and playing online games/apps.
I have participated in the Dewey's RaTs in the past and they were always fun and enjoyable. This will be my first time doing one in several years. I look forward to participating.
Please feel free to say hello, chat, make recommendations or just hang out to see what I'm reading. Thanks for stopping by : ) and Happy Reading to you!!!
