Stories are told in the form of a riddle and a passage with "The Truth, The Whole Truth, and Nothing but the Truth" is revealed at the end.
Similar to the "Encyclopedia Brown" series, but there are no plot connections between each story.
I recall the stories to be pretty abstract and fokelore-ish with characters like "the king" or "the peasant".
Read in a school library around 2002~2008.
