YA Fantasy. People die and come back with powers.

This book is a fantasy novel that follows a girl after she rises from the rubble that was her school bathroom. She remembers how she died in the fire just moments before. She came back to life, not only fully healthy but with fire powers as well. As she goes on with her life, she finds that other people died in other ways and received powers relevant to how they died. They refer to their deaths and resurrections as NDEs (near-death experiences).

Take a look at the NDE list. Only a handful are YA, and a quick look didn't turn out an obvious candidate, but maybe you will have more luck.

@David Añez I took a quick look at it and I even Googled that but nothing that came up was fantasy. Everything was supposedly “nonfiction.”
