RabbitMilitia | 338 comments Hi! This was a book or series of books (I think at least 2, but it might be just one) that I read somewhere around 1992-2002 or so. I think they were likely written in the 90s. They were children's books- pictures books but with, I believe, a fair amount of text on each page. They featured about 6 children- each practicing different religions. They were mixed boys and girls. I remember the Sikh and the Buddhist were both boys- the Sikh boy had on a small patka (just covering his top knot). I don't have clear memories of the other children.
The illustrations were rather "cartoony" looking- not true to life and I'm not sure if they were full color- if they were, I think there were minimal colors used- mostly blues, blacks, reds? I don't remember a great deal about the content, but I imagine there was a little bit of educating about the different faiths and showing/explaining the different customs of the children. I don't believe the children were named in the text, but I could be wrong. Thanks!
