I remember reading this in the 90s but it could have been printed in the 80s as i think it may have been a handme down from my older cousin. It was green hardcover book and may have had a dustjacket but i dont think we had it. There were some illustrated pages in the book but only scattered through, not on every page. A girl went to stay with her Grandmother/Aunt? and when out riding a horse is thrown and magically flies through the trees and turns into a fairy. There was a rabbit who was turned into an elf. They go on an adventure together and meet other fairys. They slept in flowers and travelled on "fairylines" that i think were spider webs. There was a fairy dance and maybe a trip down a stream. I remember a bad fairy/witch type character that was also in the story who i think may have trapped the girl in a fairy house in a tree. When the girl finally returned home she had a new baby brother/sister.
