Need help finding a book!

I read a book in the last year and for the life of me cannot remember the title or author or names!! Just a few scenes, which are vague so this will be tough.

I believe it's about a college girl that needs a watcher/bodyguard. There is undeniable chemistry between them but it isn't acted upon. The girl is dating a classmate and the bodyguard makes him jealous when dropping the girl at school but making it appear there is something between him and the girl. At one point, after they succumb to the chemistry, he kisses her goodbye when he drops her off and the classmate she was dating sees and gets mad and runs odd and she chases him to apoligize. There is also a scene where the bodyguard examines the classmate's car because he is suspicious.

Wish I could remember more, hopefully someone can help. Thank you in advanced!!

What about ? Can't remember the exact story line so not sure if it fits but it does have a bodyguard in it.

The only other one I can think of is but don't think it is set in college.

Hi everyone! Thank you all so much for the suggestions! Though none of them were it I've read some so fad and loved tbem! But after fretting for over a month, I finally found the book in my archives (I am a big fan of re-reading) The book is called Love Plus One by Andrea Smith.
