Matt Jackson | 2 comments Hello,

We just added Goodreads integration to our site:

http://www.merecal.com

The site shows all upcoming book, music, movie and video game releases. Upon registering you are able to save your favorites (authors, actors, keywords, categories, etc) in order to be notified via email about what is coming out.

Users now have the ability to add authors via their Goodreads shelves. The functionality is only available if you register but will make adding all of your favorite authors much easier.

Please have a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Matt

Michael Economy (michaeleconomy) On this page: http://merecal.com/goodreads/
Before i import, it would be cool it it prepopulated the form with my email address

After it imports, it shows a lot of my books as rating: 0 --- this isn't quite correct, it should probably show up as "unrated"

Pretty slick site, thanks for integrating with us.

Another thing you might consider doing is showing goodreads reviews on the book pages!

Matt Jackson | 2 comments Hi Michael,

Next time you import the address will be prepopulated with the last address you imported. I think I may make the change so a new user has it prepopulated with their merecal email address.

Good idea on the unrated. Zero is not quite accurate.

Reviews are something we may want to include on the titles that have already been released. For the other categories the items typically not re-releases as with books. We have plenty of paperbacks following hardback as well as a gazillion audio cds.

Thanks,

Matt
