SOLVED. Middle grade/ realistic fiction. Girl pov, she used to be best friends with a boy but then something happened and now he doesn't want to talk to her because she's no longer cool or something. [s]

Cover:

I think the boy had brothers and she was friends with them too (just not as close as the guy). The cover of the book (iirc) was a girl (like real not drawn) with a high side ponytail, posing over a fence . Then, another character (presumably the guy) was also in the front cover.
Edit: There was also pink in the cover too. May have been hot pink i think.

(Book itself)
I remember her befriending (after the end of their friendship) this uncool boy (who may or may not have glasses). I think her former friend made fun of her for it. Then at the end, her and the boy didn't reconcile. So basically it was just a story of her finding new friends, moving on, coming of age type of story.

Edit: I know for sure something bad happened to the boy's family (a death maybe) for him to hate the girl or end their friendship.
