I read this somewhere between 2017-2019, it's a modern setting. I remember the girl being into gaming or just computers and her mother was always on her ass about it, her father worked with the computers or games, she was walking her dog one night and meets a boy and they keep meeting up at night and become really close. The girl has had this friend she's played games with on her computer for a while, who I'm almost positive is named Ethan, she meets up with Ethan one day and eventually figures out that he's been lying about his age through a hospital identification sort of badge or something like that (could be wrong), and when Ethan is trying to basically kidnap her, she barely has enough time to send her location to the boy she had been meeting up with and eventually he saves her
