I've had Shuggie Bain by Douglas Stuart on my "To Read" shelf for some time, but I felt based on things I'd heard about it that it was a book I needed to be in the right frame of mind to handle. I'm finally starting it and looking forward to it.

Les étapes de la pensée sociologique - A sociological analyse of various philosophers way of thinking.
I absolutely loved The Lesbiana's Guide to Catholic School
a young adult title featuring a central character, Yamilet Flores, who is a young Latinx lesbian—though she's still not sure about sharing that last part with other people. You don't have to be a young adult to be charmed by Yamilet. My ***** review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I'm currently reading The Argonauts by Maggy Nelsin and would love to takl about it with someone. Has anyone read it?
I just finished T.J. Klune's Under the Whispering Door, and am now onto The Once and Future Witches!
Bill: Now Is the Hour is one of my all-time favorites. Hope you are enjoying it! I just bought a hardcover copy of The Kingdom of Sand, Andrew Holleran's new novel, because I'm sure it will be passed around between friends. Eager to start it. I'm still working on To Paradise by Hanya Yanagihara. I'm one of those who can be reading multiple books at the same time.
I'm currently reading The Price of Salt and Yoke: My Yoga of Self-Acceptance but I'm really looking forward to starting my hold that came in yesterday on Home Field Advantage!
I just finished The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. KluneNow I'm reading There There by Tommy Orange
