Only remember very vague details sorry! There were 3-4 books i think. Typical set up of woman who has some kind of power/calling/fate to do "work". (Dealing with the bad guys). I remember she ended up somehow being tied to this "demon" who i remember being super tall and having orange(??) skin. He has to live with her for some reason, i think they are energetically tied or something., and over the course of the books they fall in love. I think the guys name is java, or something begginjng with J. Anybody???!
