I have finished Wonder, which completes the physical disability prompt.
As we stand..."
Wow. We did an amazing job thinking we missed 2 participants! Thanks for the update.

Ushashi
Hurrah for completing the physical impairment prompt!!!
Thank you for the informative summary!
My "rural" book is quite short and I expect to finish it today.
If I were to squeeze in one more book before Sunday 11:59 pm, what would you have me read, Ushashi?
I seem to have missed you today, but I'll check back in 3-4 hrs.
For now, my plan is:
*All Boys Aren't Blue: I own a Kindle edition and just realized it fits the "banned" prompt, since I see you are reading a book that fits both the "banned" and "book you were supposed to read in school but didn't" prompts.
This last book fits: banned, new-to-you author, nonfiction, sexuality (queer), blue cover.

Go Canadian Dragon!
I enjoyed that book, too. I liked the author's Once Upon a River even more. :D

Yeah, we can use it for banned book and switch mine to the 'should have read in school'. That will totally work.

Great! I am adding it to my tbr.

Ushashi
Thanks for getting back to me!
I'm getting off the computer right now to continue reading. :D

Also, I've switched to a different book for the "banned" prompt because it's a 204-page fantasy instead of a 304-page memoir.
I'm starting A Wrinkle in Time now.

I see there are two books earmarked for the translation prompt (which was at 2/3), so I've moved my The Cat Who Saved Books from that prompt to the non-human character prompt for now.
I've started one last book for this readathon:
The Quarter Storm - magic, new-to-me author, added to TBR within last year

I have finished La digue and Un barrage contre l'Atlantique yesterday. I see you have added them to the completed spreadsheet. Thank you!
I will finish La mort à demi-mot today which I think you will be using for the translation prompt?

That is great, what is it about?"
Very strange book. Two brothers kind of always in competition. Love triangle and a murderer…short book.

Wonderful! !

I've added it to the spreadsheet for the "new-to-you author" prompt, but please move it elsewhere it that's not the best fit.
It's been a real pleasure reading together with all of you these past 10 days. Thank you, Ushashi, for your leadership!
Considering that two of our assigned teammates didn't participate, the six of us did a fantastic job. Cheers to us! 🥂
I hope we'll have more opportunities to socialize, perhaps in a Buddy Read?

I'll wait for everyone to wrap up their readings till tomorrow and then post a final update.

I also read more than expected but it was fun. It gave me the opportunity to try new author and read books I did not have on my TBR but for some it was a really nice surprise.
I am impressed at what we accomplished as a team and it was nice getting to know you all. I hope we have other opportunities to read together. Like Oshizu mention, perhaps in buddy read.

I have very much enjoyed doing this readathon with everyone. I have read a lot more than usual over the last 10 days and have been amazed at some of your reading paces! I'd also be happy to join you all in a buddy read some day.

Emily
Thanks for the heads up! And, no worries! Real life always trumps our hobbies, right?
I've moved my last book The Quarter Storm (bayou) from the new-to-you author prompt to the different climates prompt for now. It's better to earn 150 points for 3 books, than 50 points for 1 book.

Just a reminder to fill in your daily pages read and hours listened.
According to bailey's post in Readathon Central, we may only count pages read/hours listed for books that we finished and that contributed toward completing a prompt.
So, if I finished a book for a triples prompt which our team couldn't finish, I could count the pages/hours for that book.
But if, just as an example, I start a book today for the new-to-you author prompt but don't finish the book, I must not count those pages.
Lilac,
Please don't move Kamusari. I'm going to finish the 3rd book for that prompt today.

*new book: Inspector Chen and Me: A Collection of Inspector Chen Stories (151pp)
Will definitely finish this short-story collection before the readathon ends.

Nice work competing the "set in summer" prompt, Tasha!
I completed my last book for the "under 1k ratings" prompt around the same time.
We all deserve a giant bowl of ice cream!

If everyone is done updating the sheet with their pages/hours, I'll update our total points tonight.
We indeed deserve a giant bowl of ice cream!!

HIP HIP HURRAY!

That is so great. Thanks for the update
