You are funny! LOL I have a "reading schedule" that extends months in advance! Okay. I *may* be a little obsessive with my reading! :)

Oh no, not me. I can’t plan ahead much. My schedule seems to be rotated around a 36 pound puppy that thinks she’s the center of the universe.

I apologize for my absence! I have spent most of my time during the past 2-3 weeks overseeing my best friend's healthcare through two surgeries and severe complications from the last one. I spent 8-10 during each of the past 8 days in the hospital with her.

However, I should be able to knock this one out next week. BTW, you can always post your thoughts within the < spoiler >...< /spoiler > brackets (just remove the space before and after spoiler-/spoiler so they will be hidden until we're ready to read them).

I don't know if Iton is still participating or not. It might just be the two of us. :)

Yes, they do! Even while I was still working full-time I could read one of these in 2-3 days during the workweek!

Oh, my goodness! I am so sorry! I have been overseeing a friend's healthcare still AND caring for another friend's garden while they're on vacation! I'm worn out! LOL

I do plan to read this in the next few days! Anxious to see what you think!

I apologize for abandoning you, Jannene! It was not by choice. After I got my friend settled into her home after rehab, I got sick and am just now getting my reading mojo back! I will try to get this one and the July Buddy Read done this next week or at least within the next 10 days.

I finally got a chance to read this one! This is yet another installment where I felt we got way more attention paid to the serial killers than I would prefer and way too little character development for Alex and his friends/family. However, with that said I still enjoyed it, albeit I rated it just 4 stars which is rather low for me! I must admit I felt the two patients who were simply (view spoiler)["costumed actors" was a brilliant plot ploy by Patterson. That definitely made it creepier than any violent acts could be, IMO! Though I found it difficult initially to believe the ending, I think I can put it into a reality by remembering these killers all mainly wanted CONTOL! I guess I can buy KC leaving Bree and Alex alive... I admit I'm scared for Damon since he will now be, IMO, much more vulnerable to be kidnapped/killed than if he was still in DC with Alex. I honestly hope Patterson never has DC or any other killer actually kill one of Alex's family members. That might be the end of reading this series for me... I just don't think I could handle that! :) (hide spoiler)]

I'll say one thing. For being such a busy professional person and such a family man, Alex certainly finds time for sex! LOL :)

My thoughts were similar and I was so sick to hear about all of the sex comments. I was getting more and more sick and thought I may not finish it even though it was pretty clever with the two villains.

I find it fun that we basically agree on this one! Fingers crossed that the next one is more enjoyable!
