Two boys genetically altered that are mean/evil and they kill people but they themselves cannot be killed. Their "mother" tries to kill at the end of the book but they survive.
I can't remember if the mom is their biological mother or not. I believe they killed their "dad", but I'm not sure.

Is this book for kids, teens, or adults?

Deanne Devine | 227 comments This sounds familiar. Does one of the boys start to soften, causing the other one not to trust him, or something along those lines? Do you remember if if was new when you read it?
Also, do you remember the age of the boys? Are they brothers? Live in a lab or a home? I’m hoping to trigger some memories - yours and mine both:)!

Timothy Martin (timartin19) | 4 comments I know toward the end they lived in a home, and I'm not sure if they are biological brothers but they consider themselves brothers. They are teenagers, and I can't remember if the book was new when I read it.

Timothy Martin (timartin19) | 4 comments Deanne,

Yes all that sounds familiar to me. I know that they lived in a home with their "Mom & Dad" but not sure if they lived in a lab previous to that.

Deanne Devine | 227 comments I feel like I know what this book is, and it's going to drive me nuts trying to remember. Right now, my mind keeps going back to The Boys from Brazil, and I doubt that is the one you're looking for (but it is good). I'm not giving up yet:).
