Okay so I must have read this book around 2012 in my school's library. There is a slight possibility that I dreamed it but it's so wild that I don't think my brain could have produced it. What I remember is this young boy who somehow uncovers a conspiracy about some kind of energy drink or other food product. Basically there are subliminal messages (pictures shown for less than a milisecond)in a bunch of videos and it's hypnotizing the world. The antagonist might be a pig or wear a pig mask. Also a snow dome is involved. I would be thankful for any suggestions and ideas, some frantic googling has led me nowhere. Thanks!
