I loved both the book, which I read when it first came out, and I loved the movie which I saw last week, though the latter does not follow the book exactly--understandable. It's still filled with beautiful scenes of the marsh and the author succeeded with her rich and descriptive imagery in the book too. The mystery part keeps you wondering.

Yes, you are so right. The writing is lovely and I had the good fortune to meet the author, Delia Owens three years ago at the San Miguel de Allende writer's conference in Mexico where she was a keynote speaker. She was wonderful, funny and the 1000+ audience was enthralled!

I agree. It's my kind of story! Hope you may like my book, recently released: Dark Secrets about a young girl who grows up with a Swedish immigrant grandmother and wonders why she screams in her sleep. Check it out on my website or go to my Amazon page sherdavidson.com
